It seems like they take great pains to provide security, but I am leary of anyone outside of my family having access (even for one time) to every bank, brokerage and mortgage account that I have. Too much information in one place. I hope this helps. John

While phenomenally convenient, I am not currently a fan of financial aggregation sites. What terrific information. I get so nervous about identity theft and you really helped me understand how I can pro-actively protect myself. You provide such a wonderful service to consumers. Thank you for all your work. I look forward to learning more from you!

Hello John

I have been following your blog posts and watched your segment on the Anderson Cooper program. Information overload seems to be one of the most requested topics I get. Thanks for the support.

Mr. Friedman, Much like you are more than just a funny man speaker – connected cultures, celebration comes to mind (www.funnyscott.com) – I spend a lot of my time helping others out with information in general, not just the theft of it. I always check email first and find that it does take me down rabbit holes. Saving it for last is a really smart idea and one that I will start to borrow!I am looking for a reputable password protection app. Can you give me some recommendations?

This was really helpful! I'm wondering if the mint.com app falls into this category. If so, would you feel comfortable using their website but not the app? Thanks!

Hi,<br

I wouldn't send Facebook any more information, as they already have enough. You will probably never reach a human being there, as they have too many users to provide customer support (that's their excuse). On another note, it sounds like Facebook might be a little TOO important to your daughter. Some experts in this area (I am not one) suggest limits on Facebook time to make sure our kids spend in person time with their friends.

Sally Ann, I have been on the speaking circuit for the past month which is why I am replying late.
