Liz Crider is the newest addition to The Sileo Group. After graduating from Colorado State University she worked at a Colorado based non-profit before becoming Marketing and Communications Associate for another speaker/author in Austin, Texas. She enjoys focusing her writing on Identity Theft and Privacy within the fields of Social Networking and Media. Liz is responsible for the daily editorial operations of Sileo.com. Jim wears many hats at Sileo.com (some loosely fitting, he says). He is the original founder of the business that was destroyed by identity theft and data breach. Sileo Electronics started out of Jim and Barb’s garage in 1964. He supports John and the business in all aspects, strategic and tactical. This support includes extensive work with video production, web-site maintenance, search engine optimization, contracts and business writing. Barbara Sileo is the co-producer of the author and has worked with The Sileo Group since its inception in 1964. A contributing author and editor of Stolen Lives and Privacy Means Profit, she also handles Human Resources, accounting, governmental regulations and PCI compliance. To escape rules and regulations, she loves the occasional opportunity to work with clients. Barb is the voice of calm optimism that underlies everything at The Sileo Group. John Sileo began his writing career for The Harvard Crimson. After having his identity stolen two times, he wrote his first award-winning book, Stolen Lives, Identity Theft Prevention Made Simple. John is a contributing author to this blog as well as to many other publications, including Dr. Laura, AllBusiness, Womenof, SmallBusinessSuccess and many others. His second book, Privacy Means Profit, will be on shelves on 8/9/10 and is being published by John Wiley & Sons. John is particularly fascinated by subjects of information control, including identity theft, data breach, privacy, reputation management, cloud computing and social media.
